The Team

We are human.

We are realists.

And dreamers.

All at the same time.

We are realistic human beings, who know that as humanity we can’t move forward the way we have so far.

We are dreamers and visionaries since we do believe that this change we grave for with every single cell of our body is possible.

It will happen.

In fact it is already happening.

And we are beyond excited to be alive at this moment and place in this time.

FRANZISKA FREITAG

Franziska is an international Speaker, High Level Mindset Coach, and a certified Kambo Practitioner. She's a bridger of worlds and shares the magic of the jungle with the modern day world.

"But most of all I'm human!"

She helps people to remember who they truly are. What it means to be human. How much bliss, joy, and play life on this beautiful planet has in store for us.

Recognising their soul, their own divinity and worthiness at the same time.

She helps them to overcome their fears so they can become more self confident and self loving to be the leader of their own life - in all areas.

Franziska works internationally and has worked with thousands of people worldwide. She's been speaking on the biggest stages in Australia, giving workshops all over the world, always following her soul's purpose.

Three times a year this means going deep into the Amazon jungle in Brazil to take small and intimate groups of people there to work with sacred plant medicine and the indigenous people of the Yawanawa tribe.

She supports people to step up in their lives, taking over responsibility for everything, so they can achieve things beyond they thought was possible.

We wanted to do something different. Something new.

We believe that it's the custodians of the Amazon who know best what they need. And we didn't want to be more white people who believe they know best what these tribes need.

THAT'S WHY WE FOUNDED THE 'FLORESTA ASSOCIATION' TOGETHER AND THEY SIT ON THE BOARD WITH US.

MATSINI YAWANAWA - FOUNDER AND CHIEF OF MUTUM

Matsini, the Casique of Aldeia Mutum, grew up in Mutum, studying with his teacher Tata from childhood til a few years ago when Tata passed away.

He became a Pajé around the age of 18 and has been deepening his studies ever since, constantly doing diets to strengthen his connection with the Uni and the Yawanawa prayers and traditions.

His sisters are the first female Pajé’s of the Yawanawa tribe, Hushahu, Putany, & Waxy, and also study in Mutum. All his children study with him deeply and carry the Yawanawa prayers with them in the most beautiful ways.

His son Kuru is 16 and will become a Pajé soon, and continue in his father's path in Mutum with their family.

Matsini works year round with groups dieting in Mutum, sharing his prayers and traditions with a few close students, and is focused on NGO work with us now via Floresta Association, our non-profit for Matsini and Mutum which aims to create sustainability in Mutum and the Amazon in general now and for many future generations.

IRINA OLIVIERA - PROJECT MANAGER

Irina is the project manager of the NGO. She is a Brazilian biologist deeply in love with Nature. She graduated at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, having studied for a year in the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, England.

During university, she dedicated her studies to Herpetology, specialising in amphibians.

The first time she visited the Amazon she knew that her life would be linked to the Forest and everything would make even more sense after she met the Yawanawá people and their culture.

It's her dream to work on the conservation of the Amazon and help protect the indigenous people, the natural guardians of the forest.

She believes that love is the answer to all our questions and that together we can find the solutions our planet needs.

She dedicates her love to the forest and to all the beings who live there.

JÚLIA YAWANAWA KENEMENI - FOUNDER, FEMALE LEADER MUTUM

Julia is one of the leading women of Mutum.

Her vision about the empowerment of the feminine is impacting many.

She makes sure that all generations come together, share their songs, and stories so they can thrive together.

Through different projects of the traditional use of art and clothing she supports women from all different villages to gain more freedom and fulfilment in their lives.

So they can support their families and themselves.

We are very grateful to have such a powerful woman on the board of our NGO.

Thank you Julis for everything you are doing for the women of the Yawanawa and for all the women in the world.

WARREN HELEERUD / YAWAKÊXNIA - HEAD OF USA

Yawakêxnia began his journey 11 years ago when he began his 16 month raw vegan diet and Kundalini Yoga practices after giving two Golden Bridge Kundalini Yoga teachers a place to live when they were in need.

This path lead to Kundalini Yoga teacher training with KRI in Orange County, and Cacao creations in Long Beach where he met a beautiful community that supported him and his friends vision to create a raw/vegan chocolate shop called Anandamide, and his 1,000 day Kundalini Yoga Sadhana practice.

After a few years of connecting with the Long Beach community, making thousands of chocolates by hand with friends, he met his friend Kent Osborn who shared the connection to plant medicine in Peru with him, where they went together for (3) 1 month long dietas in the jungle of Pucallpa.

After helping create Shinan Arts with his friend Kent, a small business that raised over 150k for the Shipibo women and artists of Pucallpa through direct trade, he met the Yawanawá in Los Angeles for a weekend of cultural sharing, and was quickly guided to study with the Yawanawá and connect more.

He joined Franziska for a month long Seya dieta in July 2018 and was completely transformed again and fell in love with the Yawanawá of Mutum and the vision of Floresta Association that Franziska founded with Matsini and Julia, and was quick to ask how he could be of service and join forces to bring the visions of the NPO to life.

In the following 6 months he joined Franziska and Irina in Mutum for a total of two and a half months of adventure with a Kambo dieta group and another private Floresta Association Seya dieta to sync together with the visions for assisting and being of service to Matsini and Julia and the families of Aldeia Mutum.

Come and join our tribe, be the first to find out about all the amazing things we do in the world.
Our projects and upcoming gatherings!
